Step One : Lead-in

Activity 1: Free talk (2ms)

T: Can you guess the circle “ ” ?

When you see a circle ,what can you think of ?

S: The moon , the sun , the mooncake ……

T: I think it’s a birthday cake .Do you like birthday cakes ?

Today is Amy’s best friends Simon and Sandy’s birthday is coming. She wants to buy something in a shop.Do you want to know what she will buy?

Step Two : Presentation

Activity1:Free talk (3ms)

What’s this ? ( Take out a hairclip )

Is it beautiful ? It looks beautiful .It looks very pretty .

Does she look pretty with the hair clip?

Yes, it matches her T-shirt.

How much is it ?

My friend spent 50 yuan on it. It costs my friend 50 yuan .The price of it is 50 yuan.It’s too expensive.

Amy is shopping. She is at a sunnyside shopping mall.

Activity 1: Read the dialogue and answer the questions. (8ms)

Activity 2 : Ask several students to read the dialogues and fill in the blanks with proper words. (5ms)

In the first shop, Amy wants to buy some football cards and stickers for Simon .The _price of the football cards is 10 yuan. Amy thinks they’re too expensive. There is a discount on last year’s cards. They’re only 6 yuan. But Amy wants to buy new cards. At last, she buys some football stickers. They cost her 5 yuan. In the second shop, Amy wants to buy hair clips and a CD for Sandy. She knows Sandy likes hair clips and listening to music. But she has only 15 yuan.After she spends 9 yuan buying the hair clips,she doesn’t have enough money to buy her a CD. Amy thinks the pretty hair clips will match Sandy’s favourite T-shirt.
