Step One: Revision 1. Revise Millie’s day. 2. Ask the students to talk about “My day” Step Two: Presentation Ask the students to read and learn the new words: because, best, chat, each other, first, spend, library, Tuesday, Friday, practise, swimmer, twice a week
Step Three: Fast Reading 1. Ask the students to listen to the tape and answer the questions. “Who is Millie’s best friend?” 2. Let the students read the whole text quickly and finish the T or F questions on page 26
Step Four: Careful Reading 1. Ask the students to read paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 about Millie’s school and her classmates, then fill in the table(表格 ):
2. Ask them to read paragraph 3 carefully and answer the questions: a. When does her school day start? b. What do they do first? c. When do their lessons begin? d. What are her favourite lessons? 3.
