Step1 课堂检测

我最好的朋友 my best friend 对我都好 be all nice to me

每天早晨 every morning 游泳俱乐部的一名成员 a member of the Swimming Club 发邮件我 e-mail me 一周两次 twice a week 玩得高兴 have a good time

Step1: Warming up

1. Let students play a game:

Guess: Which activities Millie doean’t do in her daily life?

2.After guessing,let students find out which activities are Millie’s after-school activities,ask them find out which paragraphs talk about activities.

Step 2 Read & Answer

1. Read and find out the main idea of each paragraph,match the correct main idea:

Paragraph 1: a.Activities Activities at school(2-3) After-school activities(4)

Paragraph 2-4: b.Introduce herself

Paragraph 5 c.Closing(结束语)

2. Let whole class read paragraph 1, girls read paragraph 2, boys read paragraph 3, finally the whole class read paragraph 4-5.Correct the wrong pronunciation if necessary.

3.After reading,give them 2 minutes to remrember the main information, then ask them to close their books,and answer questions one by one.(involve about 20 questions)

Step 3 Discussion

1. Ask students to make and write down at least 5 questions by themselves according to the text.

2. Let them discuss with their partners,and make dialogues,then let students choose anyone in class to answer his or her questions.Check the questions and answers when necessary.

Step 4 Make notes

1. Let students circle the important phrases on their books by giving them Chinese meanings,then ask them read out and write down onto the blackboard.

2. Point six important places,and let students make notes.

Step 5 Exercises

1. Fill the blanks without looking at books.

2. Do the dictation.(20 phrases)

Step 6 Conclusion

Conclude what students have learnt today.

Step 7 Homework

1. Exercises book P23-24

2. Recite paragraph 1-2
